This project reflects on the silent consequences of human exploitation of the ocean. As pollution spreads through plastic, chemical waste, and heavy metals, marine life is forced into a painful process of adaptation. Evolution becomes an elegy — a story of endurance, mechanization, and the gradual loss of vitality.

Centuries later, these beings may no longer resemble living organisms, but rather survival machines — entities molded by an environment poisoned by human greed. What once was evolution as a dialogue with nature has turned into a coerced negotiation with toxicity and decay.

This work questions whether such transformation represents the resilience of life or the erosion of its spirit. Perhaps such evolution is not a regression, yet it inevitably marks a limitation of vitality itself.
