When I am not “seen” in a meaningful way, do I still exist?

In the age of technology, we constantly leave digital traces—browsing history, location data, and video surveillance. Yet this process of being “recorded” often blurs our perception of our own existence. The real sensations of our bodies—touch, presence, movement—go unseen and unrecorded.

Typically, photographs or videos serve as evidence that someone has been in a particular space. In this project, however, the space itself becomes the sole witness. Participants’ bodies are not captured by cameras; the traces they leave bear no names, no faces. These interactions generate an abstract record, one that participants cannot fully perceive or control.
