This project reflects on the concept of nature worship, exploring the paradox between reverence and control — how humanity’s admiration for nature often conceals a desire to define and dominate it.

When humans assign divinity to natural entities, naming and ritualizing them, nature becomes part of a human-centered cultural system — sanctified only to justify intervention and exploitation. What appears as devotion is, in truth, a subtle process of objectification through “sacralization.”

Through interactive installation and reconstructed ritualistic language, the work examines the tension between faith and manipulation, reverence and domination. It invites viewers to question whether humanity’s sanctification of nature is genuine devotion — or merely a self-rationalized act of possession, disguised in the language of spirituality.
